An informative and timely study from the British Medical Journal, discusses a recent project aimed at developing an embedded video consultation service within the existing National Health Service (NHS) outpatient system, that was easy to use for both patients and NHS staff.
The findings show, with non-attendance rates high and an increase in demand for outpatient appointments, digital solutions such as the Attend Anywhere video consultation platform help ameliorate the challenges to both patients attending, and services delivering, outpatient care.
